Why We Exist
The Connect Church exists to connect people to Jesus by loving them like Jesus.
"So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other."
John 13:34-35
What We Believe
Our faith is rooted in the timeless, unchanging truth of Scripture.
God
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross.
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ.
The Bible
The Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Salvation
Salvation is God's free gift to us, but we must accept it. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty.
The Church
We believe in the world-wide body of Christ comprised of all believers who have been vitally united and called to participate in local church community.
Eternity
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation.

M.C. Bellamy
Pastor M.C. Bellamy is the founding and lead pastor of Connect Church. In 2009, while pastoring a church in Chandler, AZ, the Lord called M.C. and Corinne back to Yuma to plant their second church. With over 30 years in ministry and more than 20 as a lead pastor, M.C. brings practical, Scripture-rooted messages that meet people right where they are. He and Corinne have been married over 31 years and are blessed with 6 children and 16 grandchildren.
Jesse & Danielle Cockrell
Jesse and Danielle serve as assistant pastors, helping in every area of the church. They have been married for 12 years and have 3 kids together.
Jed Ward
Jed is our worship leader with a deep passion for Jesus and a gift for leading people into the presence of God each week.
Danielle Cockrell
Danielle leads our Kids Zone with energy and love. A mom of 3, there's no place she'd rather be than pouring into the next generation.
Andrea & Tim Barg
Married 14 years with two children, Andrea leads the nursery while Tim teaches Growth Track and helps run the sound booth.
